ELIZABETH V. ZANET advises clients on U.S. and international tax matters, including outbound and inbound tax planning for individuals and companies.
Her areas of concentration include advising on structures and strategies for foreign investments, starting or expanding foreign businesses in the U.S., domestic and cross-border sales and acquisitions, investing in U.S. real property, and developing, exploiting and transferring intellectual property.
She advises individuals and families on pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning, and develops structures for international families with cross-border businesses and investments.
Before joining Ruchelman P.L.L.C., Elizabeth advised multinational corporations and private equity funds on tax planning for mergers and acquisitions at a large international law firm and a large accounting firm.
She is a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, New York City Bar Association Committee on Taxation of Business Entities, New York City Bar Association Committee on Inter-American Affairs.
